Officially it ended weeks ago but I got a bit lazy in December and couldn't be bothered keeping the blog up to date. Besides I was back in the country and pretty much keeping in touch with most people by normal methods.
A quick catch-up for the month of December (in case you haven't already heard):
- returned from Berlin: a little sad to leave but also very happy to be back
- had a nice visit from my mum: christmas shopping; visit to the christmas market
- turned 30: no tears or depression for many reasons including the one below...
- Florian very romantically proposed on my birthday, I, of course, accepted, and we are now planning our wedding for August this year
- had a wonderful christmas (at home) and new year (in Brighton)
I returned to work on the 4th January where life continues much as it had before October.
Florian and I are currently flat hunting in Manchester. Once we've moved you can keep an eye on your 'friend in the north' via my new blog.
